VA Pharmacy

The Outpatient Pharmacy Window, located on the first floor of the Beckley VAMC, will close as of Monday, June 8. In order to minimize potential exposure and spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), mail delivery should will be used for all non-urgent prescriptions. The window will not be open to fill any prescriptions for Veterans coming into the facility.

A screener stationed in the tent near the Emergency Department will be available to assist with Veterans coming to the facility to pick up urgent medications (tentatively Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m). Any Veterans who have an emergent urgent medication need while at the Beckley VAMC for a scheduled or unscheduled visit will may have it delivered either to their location in the Medical Center where they are receiving care or to their vehicle in a designated pharmacy pick up (curbside) area of the parking lot.

Refills should be requested 10-14 days in advance using or the Rx Refill mobile app, which can be downloaded at

Refills may also be requested 24 hours a day by using the automated refill line (you will need to enter your full SSN and Rx number): 304-255-2121, option 1, and option 1 again.

For more urgent needs, contact the VA Pharmacy at 304-255-2121, option 1, then option 2 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

Expedited mail delivery may be requested by your healthcare provider or nurse for prescriptions that are needed within 1-3 days.

VA Video Connect

No matter the situation, access to your VA care team is important. The new VA Video Connect app uses live video to connect you with your doctor. Using the camera on your phone, computer, or tablet, VA Video Connect lets you talk and interact with your VA care team over live video. Ask your provider for details or visit for more information!
